Updates/Reminders

Since it's turned into such a crazy week, I thought I'd post some updates and reminders for everyone to take into consideration.

Vacation - Most of us have some vacation days planned over the next few weeks, so here is a run down of who is here or not here and when,

  • Linda - December 23rd, 26th, 30th and 31st
  • Sharon - December 29th, 30th and 31st and January 2nd
  • Carol - December 26th, 29th, and January 2nd
  • Anna - December 1/2 day -23rd, 26th, and 31st (not working Fridays)
  • Jenine - December 26th and January 2nd

Board Report - Because so many of us have vacation time planned this month and the holidays are in there too, the board report is going to really be a bit different this time. With class not running from now until January, there shouldn't be too much activity in Child Plus. You can go ahead and work on this any time now. Just be sure to get it to me by the 31st.

A Couple of Things from the Management Meeting

Terri mentioned at our last Central Staff Meeting that she and a team are going to Chicago next week for our Risk Assessment Meeting. If you have anything that you would like to showcase or any special projects to highlight she would like you to share them with her. Some of my thoughts included:

  • Healthy Family Goals
  • IMIL
  • Outcomes
  • Any new or innovative things we are trying this year.

Terri has informed us of a new format for Board and Policy Council Reports. She will be providing a format which will be based on "numbers." Using this format may help us in keeping a more up to date look at our areas, which hopefully will help us when writing out Semi Annual Reports.

Our Page

Hi Girls,

I wanted to come up with a creative way to keep us all up to date and on the same page. I thought I'd try this format and see how it goes, at least for a while. It's an easy way to relay information, so I'm hoping it does the job effectively.

I know you might have questions regarding how to use the page, so at our first mini management meeting of the new school year, I'll try to answer any questions or alleviate any concerns.

RFO Christmas Party Slide Show

Preservice 2008

Phew! I don't know about anyone else, but I sure have been breathing a sigh of relief now that those fast paced days of preparing and presenting are finally over.

I want to compliment you all on a job well done! I truely think this was one of our best ever training events and it's because of all of our hard work and preparation that went in to it!

It's such an honor to be a part of this team, knowing how hard you all work and how much dedication you have, not just to children and families but to providing staff with the tools they need to make us an Outstanding Program!
